 6-Week
Skillful Attachment Practice Group

Group Discussion_edited.jpg

Practicing secure communication, boundaries, and regulation in real relationships.

Insight alone doesn’t change attachment patterns. Practice does.

Skillful Attachment in Practice is a small, skills-based group designed for people who understand their patterns—but struggle to apply what they know in real-time relationships. This group focuses on how to communicate, set boundaries, and stay regulated when it actually matters.

Rather than processing trauma or telling your story, sessions are structured around learning and practicing concrete relational skills—so the work you’re doing in therapy can show up in your daily life.

Each session includes:

  • Nervous-system-informed grounding and orientation

  • Practical tools for boundaries, assertive communication, and repair

  • Guided role-play and real-time practice

  • Integration support for taking skills into everyday relationships

This group is especially helpful if you:

  • Freeze, over-explain, shut-down, or people-please in conflict

  • Struggle to say no without guilt or anxiety

  • Know what you want to say but can’t access it in the moment

  • Are working toward more secure attachment and want help practicing it

Skillful Attachment in Practice is not therapy.

It is a skills-focused support group intended to complement—not replace—individual therapy.

No trauma processing or clinical treatment is provided.

This group offers a supportive space to practice relating differently, build confidence in your communication, and strengthen your ability to stay connected to yourself while staying connected to others.

Investment for 6 weeks: $225

The next group starts in February 2026.

Workshop

Attachment & Communication

Workshop

A nervous-system-informed workshop for people tired of repeating the same relationship fights.

You can read the books.
You can name your attachment style.
You can explain why you react the way you do.

And still — when it actually matters — you shut down, blow up, over-explain, or disappear.

This workshop is for the moment before that happens.

This workshop is a live, educational workshop designed to help you understand what’s happening in your nervous system during conflict — and learn how to communicate from your adult self instead of your attachment wound.

This is not about saying things “perfectly.”

It’s about learning how to stay present, regulated, and honest when emotions are high.

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is a good fit if you:

  • Keep having the same arguments in different relationships

  • Know what you want to say — but can’t access it in the moment

  • Swing between over-talking and shutting down

  • Struggle with boundaries, needs, or repair after conflict

  • Are insight-oriented but still feel stuck in real-time interactions

  • Want practical tools without therapy jargon or fluff

You can attend as:

  • An individual

  • A couple (highly encouraged — shared language matters)

What We’ll Cover

1. Attachment in Real Life (Not Just Theory)

  • How anxious, avoidant, and disorganized patterns show up in communication

  • Why logic and “good intentions” fail under nervous system threat

  • The difference between reactivity and skillful response

2. Nervous System First

  • Why regulation must come before communication

  • How to recognize when your body is not resourced enough to talk

  • Simple tools to stabilize in the moment (not just afterward)

3. Skillful Communication Tools

  • Expressing needs without protest behaviors or shutdown

  • Setting boundaries without guilt, aggression, or collapse

  • Repairing after rupture — because repair matters more than getting it right

4. Practice & Integration

  • Real-life scripts

  • Guided practice and examples

  • Learning to notice parts without letting them run the conversation

Participation is always optional — you choose your level of engagement.

What This Is (and Is Not)

This is:

  • Educational

  • Skills-based

  • Attachment- and nervous-system-informed

This is not:

  • Group therapy

  • A substitute for individual therapy

  • Crisis or trauma processing

The focus is on learning and practicing communication skills, not processing personal trauma histories.

Why This Work Matters

Most relationship conflict isn’t about what you’re saying.

It’s about what part of you is speaking — and whether your nervous system feels safe enough to stay present.

Skillful attachment isn’t about being calm all the time.

It’s about learning how to stay connected — to yourself and others — when things get hard.

If you’re ready to stop reenacting the same patterns and start communicating with more clarity, steadiness, and self-respect, this workshop is for you.

The next workshop will be in January.
