Colorado Relational Trauma EMDR Counseling
Therapy Session Fees
I do not accept insurance, but if you have out-of-network benefits with your insurance plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement of your therapy appointments.
How do I know if I have out-of-network benefits?
-
Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask "Do I have out-of-network insurance coverage for my therapy sessions, billing codes 90834 and 90837?
-
Alternatively, you can use this third-party out-of-network billing company that will handle it all for you for a small fee (Thrizer).
All appointments will be charged the day of your appointment to your FSA, HSA, or credit/debit card on file.
Consultation (30 mins): $50
First Session (90 mins) + Online Attachment Course: $225
Weekly 50-min: $150
Weekly 90-min: $225
EMDR/IFS Intensive (3 hours): $398
Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (2-3 hours): $375 + cost of medicine

Do you offer a sliding scale (reduced rates)?
In lieu of sliding scale, I offer 15 and 30-min appointments for those who cannot afford a full 50-min session.
Can you send me a superbill for my out-of-network benefits?
Yes! But, please be aware that you are responsible for checking your benefits with your insurance company and submitting them. All I can do is provide you with the superbill. There is no guarantee on my end that your insurance company will reimburse you. You may use Thrizer to file your out-of-network benefits for you and possibly receive reimbursement.
No Surprises Act
Per the Federal “No Surprises Act,” you can request a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients who don’t have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your healthcare provider and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill of at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate.
